Interiors
The venue you choose for your wedding plays a crucial role in creating the perfect backdrop for your special day. At Birdwood Estate, our traditional Hamptons-style furniture with neutral and soft tones, along with the double-hung windows and limestone walls, add a touch of character and elegance to your wedding photographs. Moreover, each room in our estate has a signature colour, allowing your photographer to capture unique amounts of light and colour in each shot, making your wedding album truly one-of-a-kind.
Light
Our grand three-level estate offers a perfect space for capturing stunning wedding photos. With five spacious rooms and balcony areas, photographers have plenty of options for lighting, from bright and airy rooms to darker spaces that add a more dynamic look, creating opportunities for playing with shadows and light.
Space
With our Kookaburra King Suite and four large king rooms, private space is abundant. The Large living room and 12 seat dining table also provide plenty of room for hair and makeup artists to work their magic.
Location
Located in Wilyabrup in the heart of the Margaret River region we are just minutes from some of the most popular wedding venues in the area such as Cape Lodge, Black Brewing and Hayshed Hill, so it is not a long drive to get to your venue.

Tariffs
We do not charge extra for bridal accommodation but please advise us beforehand if you wish to use the residence for this type of stay so we can prepare the property accordingly.
Our no events policy
With all of the above and the spacious grounds its no wonder that we receive so many enquiries to host wedding ceremonies, receptions and smaller events. Due to our council approvals and proximity to boutique hotels we are not permitted to do so and the safety of our guests and the quiet enjoyment of our neighbours is of utmost importance to us, and we strongly encourage you to ask all venues about their licencing before you book.
